Montreill-sur-Mer
Montreill-sur-Mer in Northern France is clearly a place
worthy of a big
advertising push for brandy. The owners of the small property in the
centre
of the photograph below, obviously did a deal with an agency - or even
Martell
themselves - not only to cover the side wall with lettering, but to
smother
the brickwork in a beautiful blue ground:
'COGNAC MARTELL'
There's a crest
below the chimney, too.

The rather bleached out quality of the image above (to
enhance readability)
doesn't really do justice to the colourwash applied to the brickwork,
better
shown below, from a different angle.
