The lane which runs downhill from the 'Mary's'
sign on the corner of Woodbridge Road has a street sign screwed
(slightly crookedly) to the brick wall low down below the railings. An
unusual cast street sign, similar to that found in Lancaster Road nearby. Condensed sans
serif capitals picked out in black against
white. It has seen better days.
